The Audit Committee promotes good corporate governance and practices
and assists the SNCF Executive Council in carrying out responsibilities
relating to the Federation’s accounting and operational policies
and procedures, system of internal control, financial reporting practices
and audit process.
The Community Services Committee aims at promoting Co-operatives
as organisations that not only cater to the economic needs of our
members, but also social needs of the community. It also aims to
make known to the public that community spirit can be instilled through
the Co-operative Movement.
The Women’s Programme Committee looks into encouraging greater
women participation in co-operative activities, development and leadership.
it provides the relevant training, education, research and technical
assistance required by women to become effective leaders and activists
through the organization of projects and programmes targeted at national
and regional levels.
The SNCF Youth Committee promotes the networking of youth in co-operatives
and to encourage the youth activities by
• Encouraging youth to become co-operative members
and help them learn participatory democracy.
• Strengthening co-operation
through exchange of visit, knowledge and know-how and activities
among youth in co-operatives.
• Helping to promote and develop co-operative
movement, community and environment
• Strengthening business activities
of co-operatives through education, promotion, member participation
etc.
