Co-operative Scholar Inspired to Tackle Social Issues

Irving Lim, 23-year-old Co-operative Scholar, a second year student in the Arts and Social Sciences faculty at the National University of Singapore, is an outgoing young man who looks forward to share his aspirations through the use of new media in the co-operative scene.

His involvement with two senior undergraduates in a short film-making competition which revolved around featuring social issues garnered his group a third placing. And more than just tackling social issues on film, the Scholar hopes to bring to life what he did on film – to address social issues by being part of the Co-operative Movement.

“SNCF gives me an impression that they are forward-looking, constantly searching for opportunities to improve themselves and engage the local community,” said Irving.
